Odyssea Diving
From the kelp forests of Point Loma and La Jolla to the massive 366-foot Yukon wreck in Mission Bay's Wreck Alley, Odyssea Diving puts San Diego's most iconic underwater landscapes within reach — all with a professional guide by your side.
Odyssea Diving operates out of a marina at 1500 Quivira Way in San Diego, offering private guided boat dives to the famous kelp forests of Point Loma and La Jolla, as well as wreck dives to the Yukon and Ruby E in Mission Bay's Wreck Alley. Kelp forest dives run 4–5 hours covering two tank dives at two different sites, with depths ranging from 20 to 70 feet depending on location. Wreck dives reach depths of 60–100 feet and require advanced certification, with the optional add-on of a night wreck dive also available. Beyond scuba, Odyssea offers guided snorkel tours to the La Jolla Cove Sea Lion Colony and seasonal leopard shark snorkel tours (available June–September), both running approximately 2 hours and suitable for all levels. The operation also runs a Catalina Island adventure day trip and private 7-Gill Shark dives in the San Diego kelp forests for advanced divers seeking a bigger thrill. Odyssea also provides a full slate of PADI certification courses from Open Water through Divemaster, as well as dive specialties including Nitrox. Gear rental is available on-site, and the operation sells branded merchandise including apparel and accessories. With custom scheduling and small-group guided experiences, the team prides itself on tailoring each dive to individual skill levels.
