Celebrating 40 years of underwater exploration in San Diego, Ocean Enterprises has built a reputation as one of the top dive centers in the US — training beginners, developing pros, and gearing up adventurers for what lies beneath.

Ocean Enterprises has been San Diego's go-to scuba diving center for 40 years, operating out of their Balboa Avenue location and offering a comprehensive range of PADI certification courses. From the entry-level Open Water Diver course — which takes students through pool sessions and four shore dives to a certified depth of 60 feet (18 meters) — through Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Dry Suit Diver, and all the way to Divemaster, the team covers the full progression of recreational and professional dive training. Beyond courses, Ocean Enterprises runs a Junior Dive Academy with youth programs including guided ocean snorkeling camps, pool-based Bubblemaker and Discover Scuba experiences, and a weeklong summer day camp combining marine science with water activities. They also offer corporate and school scuba programs through their "Be a Diver" initiative, including pool session demonstrations and Emergency First Response first aid training. The store stocks and sells equipment from major dive brands — including Apex, SeaLife, Bare, Suunto, XS, Atomic, Mares, ScubaPro, and Aqualung — alongside rentals, a repair department, and dive travel services. Store hours run Monday through Friday 10am–7pm, Saturday 9am–5pm, and Sunday 10am–5pm.
