Marissa Charters operates out of San Diego, offering recreational and technical scuba diving boat trips across some of Southern California's most diverse underwater terrain. Their trips cover Wreck Alley, San Diego's kelp forests, rocky reefs, and the Coronado Islands, with group sizes capped at 6–10 divers to keep sites uncrowded and the experience personal. The boat is distinguished as the only San Diego charter offering onboard nitrox fills at 22–40%, and the same core crew has worked together for over a decade. Recreational trips range from 2-tank and 3-tank open water and advanced dives to full-day Coronado Islands excursions, with all pricing inclusive of taxes and fees. Technical divers are welcomed on both standard recreational departures and dedicated tech-only trips held a couple of times per month, exploring sites such as Scripps Canyon, Murray Head, P-38, F-4, USS Hogan, Missile Tower, High Seas, Cape Charles, and newly discovered wrecks. Tech trips run 8–10 hours and accommodate decompression, rebreather, sidemount, and scooter divers with valid, non-expired certifications. Every trip price includes an experienced captain and divemaster, AL 80 tanks with DIN/YOKE valves, air fills, hard and soft weights, food and beverages (including hot tea, coffee, or cocoa), warm packs, and a Marissa swag bag. The boat features an onboard private toilet, hot shower, lap warmers, and hot water bottles. Rental gear is not provided in the ticket price, though the crew can arrange drop-off and pick-up with trusted local providers.
