Just Get Wet is a San Diego-based freediving and spearfishing operation that combines a fully stocked gear shop with structured courses, weekly training sessions, monthly events, and offshore charters. The team is hand-selected for expertise, passion, and personality, serving everyone from first-time freedivers to experienced spearfishers pursuing trophy fish offshore. Their charter program includes multi-day expeditions to San Clemente Island, available both as spearfishing charters and as island excursion trips. On the education side, the school offers a comprehensive curriculum spanning beginner, intermediate, and advanced freediving courses, spearfishing-specific classes, combo courses, and junior programs. The retail shop stocks a curated selection of freediving and spearfishing gear including fins, masks, wetsuits, spearguns from brands like Riffe and Wells, and Molchanovs training equipment — all tried and tested by the JGW crew and community.
