Gigglin' Marlin Dive & Swim has been serving the greater Houston, Texas area for over 30 years, operating out of a state-of-the-art facility featuring a 75-foot (25m), 15-foot-deep indoor heated pool — the largest pool of any dive center in the Houston area. The facility includes changing rooms, a deck shower, indoor and patio deck seating, and three second-floor classrooms overlooking the pool, making it one of the most complete dive training environments in the region. The shop runs local dive trips to Texas Gulf of Mexico oil rigs and the Flower Gardens National Marine Sanctuary, as well as organizing group travel trips to destinations including Cozumel, Wakatobi, Guanaja Bay Islands, the Galapagos, Egypt (liveaboard), and Truk Lagoon. As both a PADI Five Star IDC facility and an SDI/TDI affiliate, Gigglin' Marlin offers training at every level — from beginner Bubble Maker and Discover Scuba experiences through Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, Divemaster, and full Instructor Development Courses, plus technical and rebreather diving programs. Specialty offerings include freediving, adaptive/Scubility diving through a partnership with LifeWaters, and CPR/Oxygen Administration. Weekly evening scuba classes, private lessons, and e-learning options are all available. The shop also carries an extensive selection of pro-level rental equipment — including dive computers, weight-integrated BCDs, and ScubaPro MK25 regulators — and offers retail gear sales and expert repair and service for all major brands, with over 100 years of combined gear-service experience on staff.
