Guides meet divers directly at the beach, bringing all rental gear to the entry point, which keeps group sizes intimate — a maximum of four divers per guide on standard Monterey trips and just two divers per booking at Point Lobos. Dive sites include the renowned kelp forests that define this stretch of the California coast. Tours run as single-tank or two-tank dives, and the operator also offers private night dives where nocturnal species emerge after dark. A dedicated snorkel tour caters to non-certified guests on one-hour guided sessions with gear included. Point Lobos bookings require at least one week advance notice to secure the required state park permits.
