WB Diving
Hunt Megalodon teeth on legendary ledges, chase spearfish on world-class reefs, or explore historic shipwrecks far offshore — WB Diving's fast, comfortable Ledge Tender puts you on the best dive sites in southeastern North Carolina that most charter boats never reach.
WB Diving operates out of Bridge Tender Marina at 1414 Airlie Road in Wilmington, North Carolina, running custom 6-pack SCUBA and rebreather charters aboard their vessel, the Ledge Tender. Captains Chris and Brett and their experienced crew specialize in taking small groups — a maximum of 6 divers — to offshore sites ranging from 18 to 69 miles out, including Megalodon tooth ledges, historic shipwrecks, and world-class spearfishing grounds. The Ledge Tender cruises at 23–25 knots, reaching a 40-mile site in roughly 1 hour 45 minutes. All charters are priced for 2-tank dives, with a $50 add-on for a 3rd tank. The boat carries free weights, and steel nitrox tanks (HP 100s and 120s in DIN or Yoke) can be rented for $25 per tank. LeFeet underwater scooters are also available for rent at $50 per day on Megalodon Ledge charters. DAN dive accident insurance is required for Megalodon Ledge and Spearfishing charters, and all divers must show proof of the certification required for their chosen trip. Beyond local charters, WB Diving organizes destination dive travel, including a 2027 liveaboard trip to the Maldives aboard the luxury Maldives Legend X, featuring 17 dives and prime encounters with sharks, mantas, and whale sharks. The operator also sells branded apparel and dive equipment through their online shop.
