Scuba-Fun Dive Center
From the shallow coral gardens of Molasses Reef to the 510-foot Spiegel Grove wreck, Key Largo's best diving is right outside the door — and Scuba-Fun keeps every trip to four divers so you actually experience it.
Scuba-Fun operates out of Key Largo — the self-styled Diving Capital of the World — running custom guided dive trips across more than 50 sites inside the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Signature destinations include Molasses Reef (20–35 ft), French Reef with its swim-throughs and caverns (15–45 ft), the iconic Christ of the Abyss statue (25 ft), and the celebrated wrecks Spiegel Grove (65–130 ft) and USCGC Duane (60–120 ft). Year-round visibility of 30–60 feet and water temperatures of 75–88°F make conditions consistently excellent for divers of all levels. What sets Scuba-Fun apart is a firm cap of four participants per instructor or dive guide — a deliberate choice that delivers genuine personal attention on every trip. Certified divers receive fully personalised itinerary planning: tell the team your certification level, what excites you underwater, and when you're visiting, and they build a custom schedule around you — reef dives, wreck dives, night dives, lobster diving, or multi-day packages. Snorkelers can join the same trips as scuba divers, making the operation well-suited to mixed groups and families. The center also offers a complete ladder of PADI and SDI courses from Discover Scuba Diving through Divemaster, all taught in classes capped at four students. When ocean conditions prevent boat dives, the team arranges alternative dives at the protected lagoon at Jules Undersea Lodge so that training schedules are never disrupted.
