Saltwater-tours

Your boat, your course — whether that means fishing the jetties with pro gear or hopping between barrier islands hunting shark teeth and watching dolphins on the South Carolina coast.

Saltwater-tours operates out of the Charleston, South Carolina area, running exclusively private half-day boat charters. Every booking is a private trip — the boat goes wherever the customer wants, so long as the captain considers it reasonable, with no shared trips or strangers aboard. The Fishing Jetties charter is a four-hour guided fishing trip starting at $550 that includes a fishing license, top-of-the-line PENN fishing gear, water, and snacks. The Island Hopping charter starts at $450 for four hours and lets guests choose two barrier islands to explore, with activities including shark tooth hunting and dolphin viewing. The company supports local ocean conservation through partnerships with the Charleston Waterkeepers and the South Carolina Coastal Conservation League. Booking and the store are handled virtually, with no physical storefront.
