Guided fishing charters out of Charleston Harbor, Oregon for salmon, halibut, tuna, rockfish, and steelhead with four local captains.
Sharky's Charter Fishing operates out of Charleston Harbor in Oregon, running guided fishing trips from the Coos Bay area. The operation is led by a team of four captains—John "Sharky" Blanchard, Chris Wesley (Miss Islay), Murrdog, and Josh Bladt (The Eagle)—who take clients into the deep blue Pacific to chase lingcod, rockfish, halibut, salmon, tuna, and steelhead. Trips typically depart at sunrise from a local marina, with guests loading their gear and coolers before heading out across the bar to fish all day. The itinerary is designed around efficiency: "Sunrise to fresh filets, full throttle, zero fluff." Clients bring their own lunch, snacks, and drinks. Upon returning to the dock, a professional fillet maker is available on-site to process the catch into vacuum-sealed filets for cash. The business also operates an online swag store selling shirts, hats, and other branded merchandise.
