Rainbow Reef Dive Center

From the shallow coral gardens of Elbow Reef to the 510-foot Spiegel Grove wreck at 120 feet, the Upper Florida Keys offer extraordinary variety — and Rainbow Reef sends an expert PADI guide in the water with you at no extra charge, every single dive.

Rainbow Reef Dive Center operates out of Key Largo at the northern edge of the Florida Keys, just a short drive from Miami, running daily morning and afternoon dive and snorkel charters year-round aboard a custom multi-vessel fleet. Boats include the Tropical Legend, Odyssey, Adventure, Voyager, Explorer, Destiny, Serenity, and Santana, collectively capable of accommodating groups of up to 36 divers on private and group charters. Their dive territory stretches from Key Largo's Elbow Reef all the way south to Islamorada's Conch Wall, with depths spanning 18 to 120 feet across shallow patch reefs, drift corridors at Molasses and French Reef, dramatic wall sections, and major artificial wrecks including the 510-foot Spiegel Grove, the USCGC Duane, and the USCGC Bibb. What distinguishes Rainbow Reef among Florida Keys operators is an included dive guide policy that they note is virtually unique on the island chain. Every standard 2-tank, 2-location trip — priced at $99 per person with tanks and weights included — comes with a complimentary PADI Divemaster or Instructor who briefs the group, leads the dive, and points out marine life and site highlights. Certified Enriched Air divers can add Nitrox to any trip for $12 per single tank or take advantage of unlimited Nitrox packages bundled with multi-trip discount plans that bring per-tank costs as low as $5. Weekend afternoon schedules also feature dedicated Wreck Deep trips, with a 12:45 pm check-in targeting the region's deeper wrecks. Beyond charters, Rainbow Reef carries a full retail shop stocking Aqua Lung gear (including their BCs, regulators, and dive computers) alongside daily equipment rental packages, and provides PADI instruction at all levels from Open Water through Advanced Open Water and Enriched Air specialty certification. Hotel partnerships and bundled dive/hotel packages make Rainbow Reef a one-stop booking option for multi-day Florida Keys dive vacations.
