Operating since 2001 out of the San Francisco Bay Area, Pacific Ocean Sports runs local dive trips to Northern California sites alongside an extensive group travel program spanning the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific. The shop serves both scuba divers and freedivers/spearfishers, stocking an in-house rental and service department and carrying brands like SCUBAPRO, Shearwater, Hollis, Oceanic, and DUI Drysuits. The instructional program runs the full range from introductory Discover Scuba sessions through advanced professional certifications, with specialty courses including Wreck Diver, Altitude Diver, Drysuit, Enriched Air Nitrox, Night Diver, DPV, Deep Diver, Underwater Photographer, and more. The travel calendar extends well into future years, with group expeditions planned to Sint Eustatius, Dumaguete (Philippines), Beqa Lagoon Fiji, the Banda Sea, and Komodo through 2029. The retail storefront caters to both the scuba and freediving communities, offering equipment sales and servicing, demo and rental gear for sale, and access to DAN insurance.
