Harbor Dive Center is based at 200 Harbor Drive on the northern shore of San Francisco Bay in Sausalito, within easy reach of Bay Area and Monterey Bay dive sites. The shop stocks wetsuits, computers, regulators, and the latest dive housings — including the OCEANIC+ housing for iPhone — and offers in-house equipment maintenance and repair. Powered entirely by renewable energy, it has operated as a full-service dive hub for the greater San Francisco area for over 25 years. Beyond local Bay diving and Monterey Bay excursions, Harbor Dive organizes extended travel expeditions to some of the Pacific's most storied dive destinations. Their flagship experience is a 5-day shark cage diving adventure to Guadalupe Island off Baja California, run in partnership with Horizon Charters. Guests live aboard a US-flagged vessel departing San Diego, with cage rotations running from first light to last light around all-hookah dedicated-air rigs at a maximum depth of 10 feet — accessible to non-certified divers and participants as young as 10. Chef-prepared meals, beer, and wine are included in the price. The shop also facilitates travel to Cabo San Lucas and multi-day dive expeditions aboard Aggressor Fleet liveaboards, with group trips departing from San Francisco. Whether divers are completing their first certification, advancing through the PADI system to Master Scuba Diver or Divemaster, or joining a once-in-a-lifetime great white shark encounter, Harbor Dive serves as a comprehensive dive operation for Northern California.
