Anchored at 677 SW 1st Street in the center of Miami, Ocean Safari has run daily boat-based diving across South Florida for more than 35 years, owned and operated by brother and sister Robert and Marlene Quintana. Their custom 50-foot dive boat covers reef and wreck sites from Miami to Fort Lauderdale, the Florida Keys, Jupiter, and Palm Beach. Signature sites in the region include the Neptune Memorial Reef just offshore Miami, the USS Spiegel Grove in Key Largo, Lady Luck wreck in Pompano Beach, and Blue Heron Bridge in West Palm Beach — a favorite of underwater photographers. Over a hundred artificial reefs and intentionally sunken wrecks spread along the South Florida coastline give divers exceptional variety without traveling far from shore. Beyond local diving, the shop organizes international group dive travel to destinations like the Galápagos, Cozumel, Roatán, Utila, Indonesia, and the Bahamas, ranging from liveaboard expeditions to dive resort packages led by experienced members of the Ocean Safari community. The shop's location — minutes from Miami International Airport, Port Miami, Brickell, and Coconut Grove — makes it easy for traveling divers and cruise passengers to stop in before or after a departure. The in-house service department handles regulator overhauls, BCD repair, and equipment diagnostics using manufacturer-approved components, testing every regulator on a professional performance analyzer before it leaves the shop. The filling station produces air, nitrox, trimix, deco gas, and rebreather mixes using advanced membrane blending technology, serving recreational through technical divers.
