Departing from colorful Stock Island — a historic fishing community right before Key West — Wet Dream Charters puts divers on some of the best reef and wreck systems in the Florida Keys. Captain Ben Covan, a Keys native, tailors every trip to the group's skill level and target species, covering options from shallow patch reefs to deeper bluewater hunting grounds on both the Atlantic and Gulf sides. Trips accommodate up to six divers, and all necessary gear including spearguns is available on board. Spearfishing is the flagship offering, with 4-, 6-, and 8-hour trips targeting hogfish, grouper, snapper, jacks, wahoo, cobia, and African pompano depending on the season. Freediving excursions explore wrecks and coral reefs for those who want an immersive, non-hunting experience, while sandbar charters offer a relaxed day on pristine Keys islands with snorkeling gear included. During lobster season (August through March), a lobstering stop can be added to any charter. Beyond diving, Wet Dream Charters also offers kitesurfing lessons and rentals, taking advantage of the lower Keys' flat-water conditions in winter and spring.
