Walker's Dive Charters operates out of West Palm Beach, Florida, offering divers access to over 100 dive sites spread across Palm Beach County's remarkably healthy coral reef system. The Gulf Stream passes closer to shore here than anywhere else in Florida, delivering warm, clear water and an exceptional concentration of marine life that rivals — and in many ways surpasses — the Florida Keys. Daily trips run on weekdays and weekends with departures in the morning and afternoon, and the operator also runs specialized night and black water drift dives. The reefs and wrecks of Palm Beach are the stuff of legend among fish nerds and underwater photographers alike. Southern sites run 45–60 feet deep, while the northern reefs and wreck systems — including the famous Corridor wreck series, the Mizpah, PC1174, and the M/V Ana Cecilia — reach 75–90 feet. Every trip is drift diving, guided by professional divemasters who carry the flag so divers can simply relax and enjoy the parade of sea turtles, goliath groupers, sharks, rays, and countless reef fish. Experienced divers are welcome to peel off and explore independently. One of the operation's signature offerings is its black water drift diving program, conducted at night in the top 60 feet of the Gulf Stream where the bottom drops to over 500 feet. These tether-free night dives reveal deep-sea squids, larval billfish, exotic jellyfish, and creatures that leave even scientists baffled. The adjacent shore dive at Phil Foster Park (Blue Heron Bridge) rounds out the offerings with a world-renowned shallow site packed with rare Atlantic critters. Rental equipment — from tanks and BCDs to lights and wetsuits — is available dockside.
