VooDoo Fishing Charters operates out of Venice, Louisiana — at the southern extreme of the Mississippi River Delta — running offshore and inland fishing charters from Venice Marina and Cypress Cove Marina. Offshore trips aboard the 39' or 42' Yellowfin vessels travel anywhere from 15 to 100+ miles into the Gulf of Mexico, targeting yellowfin tuna, dolphin, marlin, and wahoo. Specialty offshore options include lump fishing, rig fishing, and kite fishing, the latter using an airborne kite to suspend bait near the surface and reach areas the boat cannot access. For anglers who prefer calmer waters, VooDoo's coastal and inland charter program — led by Capt. Trey Pique and Capt. Milano — fishes the fertile marshes and shallow Gulf waters no further than 30 minutes from the Venice shore. Speckled trout, redfish, and flounder are available year-round, with fish typically found anywhere from 2 to 30 feet below the surface. All offshore trips are full-day charters running 10–12 hours dock to dock, with departures between 5:30am and 6:30am and returns in the late afternoon. Boats accommodate up to 6 anglers, rates cover the entire boat (not per person), and the crew cleans the catch after every trip. Lodging in fishing camps overlooking the marina — sleeping up to 12 people — is available to accommodate larger groups.
