Teach's Lair

Teach's Lair Marina is a full-service fishing marina in Hatteras, NC, providing access to fishing charters on the Outer Banks and a tackle and gear retail store.

Teach's Lair Marina in Hatteras, NC operates as a fishing-focused marina offering access to a fleet of independent fishing charter captains for offshore Gulf Stream, inshore, wreck, sight-casting, sound, and specialty fishing trips. The marina is positioned as one of the closest Outer Banks gateways to the Gulf Stream, approximately 25 miles offshore, and hosts trips ranging from half-day inshore outings (6 hours) to full-day offshore excursions (approximately 10 hours). The marina store stocks tackle, gear, clothing, bait, and fishing supplies; staff can build custom rods, strip and fill reels, advise on licensing and regulations, and operate a fish-cleaning station for the day's catch. Multiple independently operated charter boats depart from Teach's Lair, ranging in size and specialization, with options including inshore, offshore, wreck fishing, and specialty trips. Note: Although a link to "Under Pressure Dive Charters" appears in the site's navigation for the companion Hatteras Landing marina, the Teach's Lair pages scraped here contain no dive charter content — this property is primarily a fishing marina and retail operation.
