Sea Experience
From the only dive boat and dive shop in South Florida set inside a resort hotel marina on the beach, Sea Experience sends divers into warm Atlantic waters year-round — wrecks, miles of reef, and a glass-bottom view that needs no wetsuit.
Sea Experience operates out of Bahia Mar Marina in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, running daily scuba diving and glass-bottom snorkeling trips to the reefs and shipwrecks lying just offshore. Dive boats depart at 9:00 am seven days a week, while snorkel/glass-bottom trips run at 10:15 am and 2:15 pm. The route takes guests through the Intracoastal Waterway past Millionaires Row and Port Everglades before reaching open water, with a variety of dive sites including multiple shipwrecks and the Fort Lauderdale Twin Ledges reef (10–20 ft depth) for snorkelers. Water temperatures range from 67–86°F depending on season, making year-round diving comfortable in a 3mm–5mm suit. The operation caters to all skill levels, from complete beginners on snorkel tours to certified divers seeking 2-tank reef and wreck dives. Saturday evening twilight dives and seasonal night dives (April–September 2-tank, October–March 1-tank) round out the schedule. A full complement of premium rental equipment — BCDs, regulators, dive computers, wetsuits, and tanks including Nitrox — is available on-site. Beyond daily trips, Sea Experience is a full-service dive facility offering PADI instruction from Open Water through Divemaster and Instructor Development, a retail dive shop open seven days a week, air and Enriched Air Nitrox fills via a custom water-cooled Bauer system, tank inspection and hydrostatic testing, and dive vacation packages. The shop is the only dive center in South Florida located directly within a resort hotel marina on the beach, giving guests the rare convenience of rolling out of their room and onto the boat.
