With over 100 dive sites just minutes from the dock and warm Caribbean water year-round, Scuba School and Family Dive Center Belize puts you on one of the world's great reefs — with small groups, personalized instruction, and a crew that makes every dive an adventure.

Located beachfront in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Scuba School and Family Dive Center Belize operates from a prime position on the second-largest barrier reef system in the world. The reef is a five-minute boat ride away, with over 100 dive sites accessible, and the dive center itself is just a two-minute boat ride from the reef. Dive groups are kept small — 6 to 8 divers — and classes are limited to four students per instructor, ensuring a personalized rather than high-volume experience. The center offers a full range of recreational diving and tours, including local reef dives, the Blue Hole and Turneffe tour, snorkeling, and equipment rental. Divers can explore colorful reefs with sharks and rays at Hol Chan Marine Reserve, and the team includes PADI-certified Divemasters and Elite Instructors. Nitrox certification is offered free with qualifying dive packages, and gear rental and a mini refresher for life are included for Open Water and Advanced graduates. On the training side, the center offers the full ladder of PADI courses from Bubble Maker and Discover Scuba Diving through to Divemaster Internship, as well as specialty courses in deep diving, underwater photography, night diving, search and recovery, and more. The center has been recognized as PADI's number one training center in the region from 2015 through 2025 and holds TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame status after nine consecutive years of five-star reviews. It was also named Tour Operator of the Year 2023 by the Belize Tourism Board.
