Reef Adventures
Just minutes from their dock, the Belize Barrier Reef awaits — and Reef Adventures has been introducing divers and snorkelers to it since 2000, with small groups, three boats, and a 100% safety record.
Operating out of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye since 2000, Reef Adventures was founded by Cap'n Ron and local divemaster Ched Cabral. The shop runs guided dives and snorkel tours to sites along the Belize Barrier Reef — including Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Shark Ray Alley, Mexico Rocks, Tuffy Canyon, and the offshore Blue Hole and Turneffe Atoll — all just a short boat ride from their dock. The operation uses three boats (Lil' Bubbles at 22 ft, Bubbles at 25 ft, and Bigga Bubbles at 30 ft), deliberately sized to keep groups small: a maximum of 10 divers or 16 snorkelers per trip. Morning and afternoon 2-tank dives, single-tank dives, night dives, and multi-tank day trips to the Blue Hole and Turneffe Atoll are all on the menu, along with snorkel tours, fishing, and catch-and-cook beach BBQs. All boats are also available for private charter. Beyond water-based activities, Reef Adventures offers mainland tours including cave tubing, zip lining, and visits to Maya ruins and the Belize Zoo. PADI training ranges from Discover Scuba introductory dives through Open Water and Advanced Open Water certifications. Tanks and weights are included in dive prices; gear rental is available at additional cost.
