Scuba Playa is a dive center located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, operating from three spacious boats that depart directly from the beach. The operator has been providing diving services since 2005 and offers daily trips to vibrant coral reefs where divers can encounter sea turtles, moray eels, rays, and schools of tropical fish. In addition to open-water reef dives, Scuba Playa specializes in cenote diving, guiding certified divers through crystal-clear fresh water caverns at sites such as Angelita, Dos Ojos, Kukulcan, The Pit, Chacmool, Tajma, and Chikinha. They also offer seasonal bull shark feeding experiences during the November to March period. The dive center features two on-site air-conditioned classrooms, a large equipment rinse area, hot showers, private safes, and access to a nearby training pool. The team consists of multi-lingual instructors who provide personalized attention in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, and German.
