Acuaticaribe

Dive the vibrant reefs of Cozumel or explore the mystical cenotes of the Riviera Maya with Acuaticaribe's small-group, personal-touch diving experiences.

Acuaticaribe is a dive center based in Playa del Carmen that operates small-group scuba diving trips across the Riviera Maya and Cozumel. The operator runs boat dives to the reefs of Cozumel from Marina Fonatur, as well as local reef dives off Playa del Carmen where divers explore parts of the Mesoamerican barrier reef at depths between 10 and 30 meters with visibility often exceeding 40 meters. The business also specializes in cenote diving within the Sac Actun system, visiting sites such as Dos Ojos, Angelita, Chac Mool, Dream Gate, and The Pit. For those seeking more intense experiences, Acuaticaribe offers bull shark dives where divers descend to depths of 25 meters to encounter large sharks up close. The operator emphasizes a personal touch with small groups—limited to four certified divers per guide on Cozumel trips—and provides full equipment including BCDs, regulators, masks, fins, tanks, and weights. They also offer PADI certification courses ranging from Open Water to Advanced, as well as TDI cave diving training for technical divers.
