Saltwater Therapy Charters is a full-time charter fishing operation based in the New Orleans area. Captain Eric Olsen runs trips out of Shell Beach on Yscloskey Highway, targeting species like redfish and speckled trout from his 24-foot Triton Bay boat. The service offers both inshore/coastal and offshore/oil rig trips for groups ranging from one to five anglers. Rates include all fuel, tackle, live bait, ice, equipment, fish cleaning services, and packaging of cleaned fish. A $200 deposit is required to reserve any trip date. Beyond the fishing itself, Saltwater Therapy Charters provides a range of additional services for guests visiting from out of town. These include round-trip transportation via Mercedes Benz Sprinter van or 15-passenger tour bus, overnight lodging in bayou-side lodges with optional catering, and arrangements to have caught fish cooked at local New Orleans restaurants.
