Ruby D Charters
A father-son team aboard the Ruby D brings private fishing adventures onto the stunning waters of Puget Sound — no strangers, no shared trips, just your group and the fish.
Ruby D Charters runs private fishing charters on Puget Sound, departing from Port of Edmonds Marina (Q dock) near Seattle. The operation is run by Captains Dale and Aaron — a father-son team — and exclusively offers private bookings, meaning no other passengers will ever be added to your group. Morning 6-hour trips accommodate up to six guests at tiered pricing, a dedicated two-person 5-hour morning option is available, and afternoon 4-hour trips (June through September only) accept up to five guests at a flat rate. The boat is equipped for comfort with a heated cabin, Wi-Fi, phone charging, 120-volt AC power, and an enclosed head. All fishing gear is supplied, and the crew handles the entire catch — filleting, bagging, and icing your fish for the journey home. Target species include King Salmon (Chinook), Silver Salmon (Coho), Pink Salmon, Flounder, Ling Cod, and Dungeness Crab, with Coho season peaking in September when the ocean run arrives. In addition to fishing charters, Ruby D Charters offers Burial at Sea services. Special vessel pickups can be arranged at Shilshole Bay Marina (Seattle), Kingston Marina (Kingston), and South Whidbey Island for additional fees. Payment is accepted via Venmo, check, cash, Zelle, and PayPal.
