Argonaut Diving operates out of multiple base locations across Washington State — Edmonds, Everett, Bellevue, and Seattle — with a focus on community-driven diving rather than gear sales. Their local diving centers on the Emerald Sea: Puget Sound, Hood Canal, and the San Juan Islands, with regular chartered boat dives aboard the Ocean Quest (operated by Bandito Charters), departing from Delin Docks in Tacoma and Cap Sante Marina in Anacortes. Known dive sites include Sund Rock in Hood Canal, Sunrise Reef, Z's Reef, and KVI Towers in South Puget Sound, plus Lake Crescent for freshwater visibility in early summer. Beyond local diving, Argonaut organizes international group travel adventures to destinations like Palau aboard the 40m Palau Siren liveaboard, the Maldives aboard the Carpe Vita safari yacht, and resort-based trips to Dominica and other Caribbean destinations. Local boat charters typically require Advanced Open Water certification due to cold water conditions and depth, while shore and freshwater dives are open to all certification levels. The school uses both SDI and PADI certification systems and runs a full range of courses from Open Water through Divemaster and instructor levels. Their fun dive schedule runs throughout the year, and a community Facebook group (Argonaut Nation) supplements the posted calendar with additional staff-led dives.
