River City Scuba is the largest scuba diving resource in the Columbus, Fort Benning, and Phenix City area, operating out of a full-service facility on Veterans Parkway with a heated indoor pool, retail shop, and equipment servicing bay. The shop is veteran-owned and runs a broad curriculum of PADI courses from the entry-level Discover Scuba Diving experience and Bubblemaker kids program all the way through Rescue Diver, specialty courses, and professional-level IDC instructor training. Beyond training, River City Scuba organizes local dive charters — including 2-tank inshore trips to the Florida Panhandle — and trips abroad, making it a one-stop shop for divers at every level. Gear rental options cover full scuba packages, BCDs, regulators with dive computers, weights, and aluminum 80 tanks with both air and enriched air (Nitrox) fills available (Nitrox requires certification). Equipment servicing includes hydrostatic testing, visual inspections, and regulator repair priced per stage. The shop stocks a wide range of leading dive brands including ScubaPro, Cressi, Hollis, Oceanic, Atomic, Sea Life, Sherwood, Zeagle, Bare, Akona, and Stahlsac, among others, making it the region's most comprehensive scuba retail destination. Store hours are Monday through Friday noon to 6 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 2 PM.
