Le Poséidon operates out of the Port de Nice in France, running daily dive trips from May to October. The center focuses on a selection of over ten sites located within a short boat ride, with many situated in the Villefranche bay area where conditions are described as safe and visibility is excellent regardless of weather. The operation meets divers twice daily at 9am and 2pm for guided trips that last approximately two hours. While most sites are accessible to all levels, self-governing dives require a minimum Rescue Diver certification. The center also offers introductory experiences like Discover Scuba diving and snorkeling tours alongside its standard adventure dive packages.
