MAKO DIVERS

From Pompano Beach, Mako Divers connects certified divers with reef and wreck adventures in South Florida while guiding newcomers through every step of their scuba journey — all the way from pool skills to Nitrox certification.

Mako Divers operates out of South Florida, offering a full suite of scuba training and bookable boat dive trips. Their 2-tank boat dives run from Pompano Beach in partnership with Hydrotherapy Dive Charters, exploring vibrant reefs and historic wrecks with small group sizes and onboard snacks and beverages for divers of all skill levels—from beginners to advanced technical divers. On the training side, Mako Divers covers the full certification ladder: Open Water (with or without eLearning, now bundled with Nitrox at the eLearning tier), Advanced Open Water with Nitrox, Rescue Diver, Emergency First Responder, and standalone Nitrox courses. A scuba refresher course is also available for lapsed divers, with an optional add-on boat trip to test regained skills in open water. The operation also maintains a retail shop where equipment and dive products can be purchased, and accepts a wide range of payment methods including major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash App.
