Florida Dive Pros

Serving Florida Panhandle divers since 1988, the Dive Pros bring a thorough, safety-first training philosophy and a fully stocked retail center to the Gulf Coast — so you leave not just "certified" but genuinely ready to dive.

Florida Dive Pros has been a fixture in the Pensacola dive community since 1988, operating out of 7203 W. Hwy. 98 with an onsite 12-foot deep indoor heated pool purpose-built for scuba training. The shop focuses on SCUBA instruction and equipment retail, referring certified divers to locally recommended third-party charter operators — Niuhi Dive Charters and H2O Below Dive Charters — to explore Pensacola's wrecks, artificial reefs, and live-bottom reefs in the Gulf of Mexico. Their training program spans the full PADI curriculum: Discover SCUBA experiences, Open Water certification (priced at $389, or $359 with a military discount), Advanced Open Water, Nitrox, Rescue Diver, a wide range of specialty courses, and leadership-track Divemaster and Instructor development. Technical instruction — including diving below 130 feet, decompression diving, advanced nitrox/trimix, and cavern/cave diving — is also offered. The shop prides itself on exceeding minimum agency standards, providing more pool and open water time than typical programs. On the retail and services side, Florida Dive Pros operates a full-time factory-trained equipment maintenance and repair department, offers gas fills, equipment rental, and carries equipment from lines including ScubaPro. The facility includes an onsite heated pool and storage, making it a comprehensive one-stop shop for Gulf Coast divers.
