Fish Assassin Saltwater Charters operates out of Gulfport, Mississippi, offering inshore and nearshore fishing charter trips on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Guests fish aboard the "Fish Assassin," a 24-foot Blazer Bay center console powered by a 250 HP Yamaha 4-stroke engine and outfitted with an I-pilot trolling motor, fishfinder, GPS, fighting chair, and live bait and tackle — purpose-built for small groups and families of up to four anglers. Captain Brian Ware was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and brings over 30 years of experience fishing the Mississippi Sound and surrounding waters. Using light tackle, jigging, bottom fishing, and popping techniques, trips target species including speckled trout, redfish, flounder, sheepshead, mackerel, bull redfish, sharks, jack crevalle, tripletail, and cobia. Three trip formats are available: a 4-hour inshore trip focused on close-to-shore species, a 4-hour offshore/island trip venturing near the Mississippi barrier islands with a choice between light-tackle inshore fishing or targeting bigger game, and a 6-hour island trip that blends inshore and offshore fishing for a well-rounded day on the water. All trips include rods, reels, tackle, lures, a fishing license, live bait, and catch cleaning and filleting.
