DiveMaster Key West

Dive the world's third-largest living coral barrier reef and one of the biggest artificial reefs on the planet — all within miles of Key West's Historic Garrison Bight Seaport. DiveMaster Key West puts a divemaster on every trip, capping private and semi-private groups at just six divers.

DiveMaster Key West operates out of a full-service dive shop in the Searstown plaza on N. Roosevelt Blvd, sending boats out twice daily at 8 am and 1 pm to the coral reefs and wrecks surrounding Key West. Their trips span the breadth of what the lower Keys have to offer: shallow inner coral reefs running 3 to 30 feet, the 90–95 ft steel-hulled Cayman Salvage Master, and the crown jewel of Florida wreck diving — the USNS General Hoyt S. Vandenberg, a 522-foot former military transport resting at 100–150 feet that ranks as one of the largest artificial reefs in the world. Every 2-tank outing includes tanks, a captain, and a divemaster at no extra charge. Private and semi-private trips are capped at six divers, ensuring plenty of space and personalized attention. The shop also offers full gear rental, air fills, and a complete line of scuba and snorkel equipment for purchase. Beyond day trips, DiveMaster Key West runs an eight-week all-inclusive Divemaster internship program that takes students from Open Water certification all the way to PADI Divemaster — with free student housing, unlimited diving, and hands-on experience aboard motor vessel Good Times. The program also includes certification as a SNUBA guide, giving graduates a direct route into the workforce.
