Dive Services Inc. operates out of a two-story facility at 228 Matt Lane in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with a sharp focus on technical divers and discerning equipment users. The shop's core specialty is gas fills and cylinder service: it provides air, nitrox, trimix, heliox, argon, and CO2, backed by 4,500 PSI banked air and a Haskel pump specifically for rebreather fills. PSI inspections, O2 cleaning, tank tumbling, valve repair and replacement, and offsite hydrostatic testing round out the cylinder services, while pickup and delivery is offered up to 23½ hours a day. Equipment service is equally prominent — free regulator testing and estimates, manufacturer-trained maintenance and repair, and replenishment of diving and related equipment. The retail side carries brands including Hollis, Zeagle, Atomic, Oceanic, Bare, DiveRite, Sherwood, Poseidon, JBL Spearfishing Equipment, Henderson Wetsuits, and a range of accessories. The owner, Joel Michello, also handles paintball, SCBA, and other application fills, and has a professional network to assist with needs beyond diving. Training is available through IANTD and DAN (primary) as well as PADI and SDI/TDI, with an emphasis on technical and deep diving. The operator dives the Hollis Prism II rebreather and welcomes consultations on rebreather diving at no charge. The facility operates by appointment, so prospective customers are encouraged to call ahead.
