Conch Republic Divers operates out of Tavernier Creek Marina in the Upper Florida Keys, covering over 41 nautical square miles of reef line from Key Largo to Islamorada. The shop has been in business for over 37 years and offers a full-service experience including dive trips, training, gear rental, sales, and service. The operator runs two boats: the 'Republic Diver,' a 46-foot Newton Custom Dive boat known for its stability and comfort features like hot showers and camera rinse bins; and the 'Mermaid Diver,' a 32-foot Island Hopper equipped as a 6-pack vessel with speargun racks and underwater lights. Trips include half-day two-tank dives on both vessels, night dives, snorkel trips, and private charters. Dive sites range from shallow patch reefs like Molasses Reef to major wrecks such as the Spiegel Grove, Duane, Bibb, Eagle, and SS Benwood. The shop also offers technical diving opportunities and a wide variety of certification courses from Discover Scuba through Dive Master.
