Chesapeake Bay Diving & Swim Center
Since 1986, Chesapeake Bay Diving has been opening doors to the underwater world from its Hilltop Plaza home in Virginia Beach — with hands-on scuba training, organized dive travel from local adventures to exotic destinations, and an in-house team ready to keep your gear expedition-ready.
Located in Virginia Beach's Hilltop Plaza on Laskin Road, Chesapeake Bay Diving has served the Hampton Roads dive community since 1986. The center's scuba training curriculum spans Open Water and Junior Open Water certifications through a full suite of specialty courses: Enriched Air Nitrox, Night & Limited Visibility, Navigation, Wreck Diving, Deep Diving, Drysuit, Search & Recovery, and Stress & Rescue. Freediving and snorkeling programs are also offered, and an on-site technical team handles scuba equipment maintenance and repair. For divers looking beyond local waters, the center organizes both domestic (USA Trips) and international (Global Trips) dive travel, guiding clients from regional adventures to exotic destinations worldwide. Dive and travel insurance is also available through the center, rounding out their travel support services. Chesapeake Bay Diving operates a dedicated aquatics program, Swim 757, offering American Red Cross–certified swim instruction for infants through adults — including specialized lessons for children with special needs, taught in small groups or private sessions at their Virginia Beach facility. From a toddler's first water safety skills to an advanced diver's next international expedition, the center functions as a comprehensive aquatic resource for the Virginia Beach community.
