Catalina Divers Supply is located at the iconic Casino Dive Park inside the historic Casino building on Catalina Island, and has been operating for over 60 years. The center is the island's only full-service dive facility, offering gear rental, purchase, servicing, air fills (including Nitrox, 100% Oxygen, and Trimix), and an indoor classroom. Hot showers and restrooms are available to select bookings, and a Repair Tech as well as a Photo Pro are on site. The center runs shore-based guided dives at the Catalina Casino Dive Park, available every day at 8, 10, 12, and 2 (with an additional 4 pm slot in summer). For divers wanting to explore beyond the dive park, Catalina Divers Supply operates the Scuba Cat, Avalon's only vessel custom built for dive excursions — a 2000 46' Newton fiberglass-hull dive boat equipped with a sun deck, two wide-easy exit ladders, three hot water shower heads, two camera tables, a fresh water rinse tank, and a head. Daily two- or three-tank boat dives depart from Avalon year round, with a minimum of 6 divers required to leave the dock. Smaller groups can be accommodated on the Scrambler. The center offers a full range of PADI courses from Open Water through Divemaster and instructor development, as well as specialty programs including Avelo, the latest innovation in scuba technology available exclusively through Catalina Divers Supply. Catalina's marine environment hosts more than 800 species in its kelp forests, and PADI has named Catalina Island the best place to dive in North America.
