Carolina Beach Scuba operates out of Carolina Beach, North Carolina, running daily dive charters departing from the Carolina Beach Yacht Basin at 100 Carl Winner Ave aboard the Semper Dive — a 37' Stapleton Custom with a 14' beam, marine head, Starlink, and cabin with heat/A/C. The boat carries a maximum of 6 passengers and requires a minimum of 5 divers to charter, covering a wide range of sites from 10-mile inshore wrecks to 57-mile offshore destinations reaching depths of up to 130 feet. The charter program covers wreck diving on named vessels like the Stone Tug, Dredge Wreck, Pocahontas Tug, Hyde, Brian Davis, John D. Gill, Rosin Wreck, Esso Nashville, Normania, Cassimir, Ed's Lobster Wreck, City of Houston, and the Frying Pan Tower, plus fossil meg ledge dives both inshore and offshore. The shop also specializes in spearfishing trips targeting spiny lobster, grouper, hogfish, and flounder. Certain deeper and more technical sites require special dive qualifications. Beyond charters, the shop is a full-service retail and training center carrying brands including Dive Rite, Sherwood, Cressi, Hollis, Trident Scuba, and Akona. Training runs from Open Water through Instructor level, with technical courses including Intro to Tech, Trimix, Cavern Diver, and Rebreather. The team also organizes travel to destinations such as Bonaire.
