Dive the world's #1-rated wreck or glide over the only living coral barrier reef in the United States — Captain's Corner has been putting divers on Key West's best sites since 1985.

Captain's Corner operates from the Key West Bight Marina, running morning trips to the Vandenberg wreck and afternoon trips to the Florida Reef from their booth at 631 Greene Street. Their 46-foot Newton dive boat, the Sea Eagle, provides a roomy two-level platform with twin Cummins engines producing over 800 hp, twin dive ladders, a swim platform, fresh water showers, a camera table, and an enclosed marine head — everything a diver needs for a comfortable day on the water. The morning wreck program focuses almost exclusively on the USNS General Hoyt S. Vandenberg, a 522-foot vessel sitting upright seven miles south of Key West in 140 feet of water, with the main deck at 100 feet. Rated the world's number-one wreck by Scuba Diving Magazine readers, it is a bucket-list dive for experienced divers — Advanced Open Water certification or a hired guide is required. The afternoon reef program visits two separate locations along the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, where the third-largest coral barrier reef system in the world hosts over 110 species of coral and 500 species of tropical fish at typical depths of 20 to 35 feet. Back at the dive center on Ann Street, Captain's Corner maintains Key West's only on-site training pool, offering small, personalized classes that run daily from Discover Scuba Diving through Divemaster and a full range of specialty courses. Gear rental — BCD, regulator, tanks, wetsuit, weights, mask, fins, and snorkel — is available at the dock, and dive computers, weights, masks, snorkels, and wetsuits are included at no extra charge on all trips.
