Axis Sport Fishing Charters
From Edmonds Marina, Axis Sport Fishing Charters puts anglers on Puget Sound's prized Chinook, Coho, and Pink salmon runs—guided by a family of seasoned local captains who have worked these waters since 1995.
Axis Sport Fishing Charters has guided anglers on Puget Sound since 1995, departing from Edmonds Marina near Seattle aboard their vessel The Salty Dog. The operation is led by Captain Jeff Christen alongside captains Savannah Dunham and Dylan Dunham, targeting Chinook, Coho, and Pink salmon as well as lingcod, flounder, and cabezon throughout the seasons. The Salty Dog is described as a stable, well-maintained charter boat featuring a wide aft deck, walk-through transom, cabin with private restroom, GPS/chartplotter, sonar/fishfinder, radar, downriggers, and full safety equipment. The charter offers 6-hour morning trips, 4-hour afternoon trips, and a seasonal 3-hour afternoon special, in both shared and private configurations for up to 6 guests. Morning departures range from 5–5:30 AM in summer to 6–7 AM the rest of the year; afternoon trips depart around noon to 1 PM after morning charters conclude. A $100 deposit is required to book, with the balance due at the boat. Washington State fishing licenses are available aboard for an additional $15.
