Aquatic Ventures operates out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, serving divers along South Florida's celebrated coastline — home to artificial reef systems, historic shipwrecks, and warm, clear Atlantic waters. The center runs a full slate of scuba courses alongside guided dive trips, making it a one-stop destination whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned diver looking to sharpen specialty skills. Training is the backbone of the operation, with courses spanning the full certification ladder: Open Water, wreck diving, boat diving, and beach and shore diving specialties. By default, certifications are issued through SDI, though PADI certification is also available. Group courses and private instruction run six days a week, and students benefit from the use of all equipment during their Open Water training. Aquatic Ventures prides itself on being a small, family-oriented business that rejects the corporate, big-box approach to dive retail and instruction. Every student receives individualized attention, with instructors repeating essential skills until they are truly mastered — not merely completed once. The center also maintains a retail shop where students receive equipment discounts, and a dedicated "Dive With Us" program takes certified divers out to the reefs and wrecks offshore.
