Southeast Georgia's answer to a full-service dive center, Wreckreation Scuba brings year-round training, premium gear, and a heated indoor saltwater pool all under one roof in St. Marys.

Opened to fill a gap in Southeast Georgia's dive scene, Wreckreation Scuba operates from a purpose-built facility at 1050 Kings Bay Rd in St. Marys, Georgia. The shop is locally owned and operated by divers with combined decades of experience, and its centerpiece is a heated indoor saltwater pool that allows year-round training regardless of weather. As an authorized Avelo Dive Center, the shop is also equipped to teach the Avelo buoyancy system alongside the full range of SDI courses. The training curriculum runs from introductory Discover Scuba experiences through Open Water certification, Nitrox Diver, Advanced Scuba Diver, Rescue Diver, Divemaster, Assistant Dive Instructor, Instructor Development, and Divers First Aid, with up to 25 additional dive specialties also on offer. All programs are delivered by experienced certified instructors and meet USCG standards and OSHA guidelines. The retail and servicing side of the business is equally comprehensive. The fully stocked store carries premium equipment from OTS, Dive Right, and Tusa, while the on-site servicing center handles regulator repair, BC inspection, scuba cylinder annual inspections, and hydrostatic testing of both scuba and carbon fiber cylinders. Community involvement — including support for local marine conservation, partnerships with local schools, and participation in beach and underwater clean-up events — rounds out the operation.
