Dive the local lakes at Lake Jocassee or Lake Keowee with a crew that keeps prices low and service personal.
Upstate Scuba operates out of the Clemson University area in South Carolina, positioning itself as a local diving hub for students and regional divers. The shop runs boat charters to nearby freshwater sites, specifically targeting Lake Jocassee (The Junk) and two locations on Lake Keowee (The Hot Hole and The Pumphouse). These trips are structured as 2-tank dives lasting approximately four hours. Beyond local lake diving, the operator organizes travel trips to Florida Springs and Panama City several times a year. As a retail shop, they stock an expansive selection of scuba gear from brands including Sherwood, OTS Guardian, Akona, Shearwater, and Trident. The business also offers SSI and NAUI certification courses, ranging from Open Water to specialized skills like Drysuit and Side Mount.
