Train locally in the Chicago area and dive world-class reefs on group trips to Cozumel or liveaboards in the Arctic.
Underseas Scuba Center is a dive center located in Villa Park, Illinois, serving the Chicago area. The facility provides scuba diving training through self-study materials and weekend or evening classes for PADI certifications. Open-water training dives are conducted locally at Haigh Quarry near Kankakee or Pearl Lake near South Beloit during warmer months. The center also operates a comprehensive equipment department, selling top brands like AquaLung, SeaQuest, SUUNTO, DUI, and Cressi, while offering rental services for gear including Nitrox-capable dive computers. As the leading service facility in North America factory authorized to work on Suunto and late-model AquaLung computers, they provide specialized repair capabilities. For diving opportunities beyond local waters, Underseas Scuba Center organizes group trips to destinations such as Cozumel, Isla Mujeres, and Saba. They also arrange intensive liveaboard experiences in locations like Clipperton, the Arctic, Indonesia, and Alaska for individuals or small groups.
