UnderSea Adventures
Dive a decommissioned nuclear missile complex or plan your next tropical expedition — UnderSea Adventures is the Tri-Cities' gateway to everything underwater, from the gear on your back to the reef beneath your fins.
UnderSea Adventures operates out of Kennewick, Washington, serving the Tri-Cities area as a full-service SSI training facility with PADI instructors on staff. The shop's most distinctive offering is exclusive access to dive the abandoned Titan I ICBM complex near Royal City, WA — an all-day experience encompassing dives in Launcher 3, Equipment Terminal 3, and Launcher 2, reaching depths of approximately 105–110 feet, plus a BBQ lunch and dry-side tour of the complex. Divers can also earn an SSI or PADI Missile Silo Diver specialty certification on site. Beyond the silo, the shop organizes group dive travel ranging from quick Northwest weekends to tropical destination trips. A recent example included seven nights at the Cozumel Hotel and Resort with five days of two-tank boat diving on Cozumel's reef system; upcoming travel includes a December 2026 Philippines Dive Safari — a two-week expedition combining boat-based diving with resort nights along the route. The retail side of the business stocks gear from Mares, Aqualung, Bare, Atomic, Apeks, Hollis, Zeagle, Shearwater, Garmin, and XS Scuba, with a knowledgeable team to guide purchases. Training runs from entry-level Open Water certification through specialty courses, and the UnderSea Adventures Dive Club provides the local community with first access to trips, a members-only newsletter, and regular events.
