Tidal Pursuits Fishing
From the inshore flats of Oregon Inlet to the legendary Roanoke River striper run, Tidal Pursuits Fishing puts anglers of every skill level on fish year-round in some of North Carolina's most productive waters.
Operating out of Oregon Inlet on North Carolina's Outer Banks, Tidal Pursuits Fishing runs guided inshore and nearshore fishing charters targeting species such as red drum, flounder, cobia, Spanish mackerel, speckled trout, and sheepshead. With over 20 years of fishing experience, the captain specializes in sight casting and light tackle and fly fishing, accommodating anglers of all skill levels — from first-timers to seasoned fishermen — with a focus on family-friendly outings for groups of up to four. Trips are available in three durations: a popular half-day (4 hours, $500), a 3/4-day (6 hours, $750) that ventures into the ocean for larger species like cobia, amberjack, and mahi-mahi, and a full-day (8 hours, $1,000) for parties who want maximum time on the water. All nearshore and ocean fishing is weather and condition dependent. In addition to Outer Banks charters, the captain leads seasonal March Striper trips on the lower Roanoke River in Plymouth, NC — a month-long catch-and-release fishery targeting migrating striped bass, with all tackle, bait, and licenses included.
