Experience intimate shark encounters and vibrant reef life in Sint Maarten with small groups of just six divers.
SXM Divers operates out of Cole Bay on the island of Sint Maarten, running small-group dive trips with a maximum capacity of six divers. The operator focuses on coral reefs and historic wrecks in local waters, where guests can encounter schools of fish, sharks, turtles, and stingrays. The business is heavily involved in marine conservation, specifically partnering with the One Shark Project to conduct shark tagging expeditions for tiger sharks. They offer a dedicated shark dive experience at a sandy site 55 feet deep, allowing divers to kneel on the bottom for close encounters with Caribbean reef and nurse sharks without damaging coral. All standard dive trips include tanks, weights, guides, water, snacks, towels, and full valet service (gear storage, rinsing, and setup). The center is located at 58 Well Rd in Cole Bay, near Simpson Bay, featuring its own dock with lagoon access.
