Sun's Up Scuba is located in The Shops at South Fork Village in Belmont, North Carolina, and operates as a comprehensive dive and travel center. The shop was founded by husband-and-wife team Mike and Sundae, whose shared love of diving and travel drove them to build something beyond a typical dive shop — a community hub for divers of all levels. Their organized dive travel program reaches destinations as varied as the wreck of the U352 near Morehead City on the North Carolina coast and shore diving off Grand Cayman. The shop offers a full slate of scuba instruction from youth programs and Open Water certification through continuing education and professional-level "Going Pro" training. On the equipment side, Sun's Up handles sales, rentals, air fills, and a service and repair department staffed by PSI/PCI-certified inspectors capable of visual inspections and full regulator overhauls. Shipped equipment is also accepted for service by prior arrangement. Beyond diving, Sun's Up operates its own full-service travel agency — Sun's Up Travel — for group cruises, destination weddings, all-inclusive vacations, and more. Paddling enthusiasts are also catered to through kayak, SUP, and river run rentals. The shop is open Monday through Sunday (closed Wednesdays) from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm.
