Captain Mark Noble has been running guided fishing charters out of Saint Simons Island, Georgia since the early days of charter fishing on the island, operating through the Golden Isles' vast estuary system of rivers, creeks, marshes, and nearshore waters. Departing from Overlook Dock at Morningstar Marinas (104 Marina Drive), Noble covers a broad range of waters spanning St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Little St. Simons Island, Cumberland, St. Marys, and Sapelo Islands, drawing on decades of firsthand local knowledge. Inshore trips target speckled trout, redfish (red drum), flounder, and sheepshead in the calmer estuaries and marshes close to shore. Offshore ventures go after king mackerel, tarpon, cobia, snapper, and grouper in deeper water. Noble is particularly well-known for bull red drum fishing and hosts an annual Bull Red Drum Tag and Release Tournament each October, now in its tenth year. Family and kids fishing trips are also a core part of the offering, with shorter afternoon sessions available during certain fishing seasons. Noble emphasizes patience and instruction for beginners and younger anglers, and has been guiding families, first-timers, and experienced anglers alike across Georgia's coastal waters for many years.
