St Abbs Charters operates from Eyemouth Harbour in the Scottish Borders, running boat-based scuba diving trips around St Abbs Head and the Berwickshire Marine Reserve. The operator uses a 10.5m Offshore 105 named Stingray to access dive sites such as West Hurker, Skelly Hole, Tye’s Tunnel, Black Carr, Wuddy Rocks, Thrummie Carr, Fast Castle, and several local wrecks including the Glanmire, Alfred Erlandsen, and Peanut boat. Dives typically range from 12m to 35m in depth, with scenic rocky reefs featuring gullies and tunnels suitable for divers of all abilities. In addition to scuba diving, St Abbs Charters offers snorkelling experiences ranging from introductory sessions at Coldingham Beach or Eyemouth Bay to guided boat trips around the rugged coastline. The business also runs wild swimming tours where guests swim the cliffs and gullies with safety cover provided by the vessel, as well as wildlife tours focused on observing seabirds like guillemots, razorbills, gannets, and puffins between April and July. The team consists of Sally Wright, a BSAC Open Water Instructor and open water swimming coach, and Danny Wright, an experienced commercial diver who holds instructor status with BSAC, PADI, and SDI/TDI. They operate from the Blue Adventures premises in Eyemouth where they also offer kit hire, servicing, and training courses for beginners through to technical divers.
