Spectre Dive Boat departs Ventura Harbor at 7 AM, reaching Anacapa Island in approximately 75 minutes and Santa Cruz Island just beyond, offering three dives per day at rocky reef and kelp forest sites in depths between 25 and 50 feet. The boat returns around 4 PM, making every trip a true full-day adventure. Weekend trips run year-round; weekday trips are seasonal. The Spectre is an 85-foot aluminum hull — the largest dive boat in California — built for comfort with individual dive stations, wide aisles, two hot showers, a freshwater hot tub seating eight, two onboard air compressors for fast fills at your station, a 32-seat galley, camera rinse tank, charging outlets, and Starlink WiFi. No gear swaps between dives are needed; tanks are filled right at your station. The Northern Channel Islands — often called the "Galápagos of North America" — offer extraordinary biodiversity where kelp bass, sheephead, orange garibaldi, sea lions, harbor seals, bat rays, horn sharks, moray eels, and the occasional giant black sea bass reward patient exploration. Visibility averages 40 feet and frequently exceeds it.
